Nominations are open for the FDs’ Excellence Awards, which are hosted by Real Business in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the CBI.
The awards for outstanding Financial Directors (FDs) are broken into three categories: the FDs’ Awards; The Excellence Awards and the FTSE FDs’ Awards. Nominations are open until 2 March 2012 and the winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony in May.
The FDs’ Awards seek to identify and celebrate finance directors and leaders in UK-based businesses that exemplify the very best of this role. Finance directors can be nominated or can nominate themselves for one of the following categories: Young FD of the Year (under 40!); Private Company FD of the Year and FD of the Future.
The Excellence Awards recognise business banks, auditors (big six and mid-tier), financial software suppliers and recruitment firms. These awards are determined by votes cast by FDs in the annual FDs' Satisfaction Survey.
The FTSE FDs’ Awards recognise superb finance directors at the peak of their powers, across a range of company types and are based on financial research conducted with information specialist Jordans and CEO testimonials. The FTSE FDs' awards categories are: FTSE 100 FD of the Year, FTSE 250 FD of the Year, Small Quoted FD of the Year.
