Established in 1997 and based in the Port of Felixstowe, D H Doherty & Son Ltd specialises in container transport throughout the UK. The company prides itself on providing a reliable, professional service at competitive rates. Having started with just one vehicle, D H Doherty & Son now operates a modern fleet of Volvo trucks with slider and splitter trailers that carry individual loads up to 30 tonnes.
DH Doherty's management team decided that invoice finance offered the way forward ten years ago, when they needed funding for expansion. At that time they had three vehicles and no office space.
