Small firms blog for Britain

Small firms are using blogging, RSS feeds and search engine marketing, creating a level playing field with larger firms.
Figures released by 1&1 Internet reveal that, following the decision to bundle a blog tool with its hosting plans, its clients published over 1300 new business blogs in each month since December last year.
Having launched a free RSS Creator tool recently, 700 new owner managed businesses have created RSS feeds.1&1's search and banner advertising are also said to be proving popular with small businesses with hundreds now applying the new online marketing techniques.
