SME Invoice Finance Gives a Lift to Peterborough Cranes
Peterborough Cranes Ltd was established in 1981 with the purchase of a 25 tonne telescopic mobile crane. The company now has 11 cranes, ranging in size from 12 to 300 tonnes, to suit all lifting requirements throughout the UK.
The directors of Peterborough Cranes turned to invoice finance in 2002, when their bank unexpectedly reduced their overdraft. They approached several finance companies but the others were all deterred by Peterborough Cranes' strong links with the construction industry. SME Invoice Finance was different, however, preferring to look at each business case individually, and they structured and delivered a £250,000 factoring deal.
