SME Invoice Finance Secures the Deal
Soon to be rebranded The Security Group (National) Limited (TSG), Bowles Security Services (UK) Ltd was established in 2006, with the acquisition of Freelance Security Ltd. It provides high quality security solutions to businesses in the UK, offering its clients the resources of a national company with the experience and benefits of local knowledge and operations.
The directors embarked on a strong expansion programme and selected a large invoice discounting provider to provide the finance. The funding process was extremely drawn out, until after more than 3 months of repeated missed deadlines, SME Invoice Finance stepped in and had the facility in place within 24 hours.
With the support of SME Invoice Finance, the directors grew the turnover from just over £1 million to over £5 million over four years. They then had the opportunity to break into the lucrative London market, by merging with Alpha Plus Security Ltd. They spoke to a number of financiers but SME Invoice Finance was again the most responsive, structuring and delivering a £1,500,000 confidential invoice discounting facility to tight time-scales.
