Graham Westwell - Chairman
Graham had spent 40 years with NatWest Bank when he retired in December 1999 as Managing Director of City and West End London Region, Corporate Banking. There he was responsible for the strategic development of the business and for a team of over 6000 staff. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of lending to the owner-managed sector as well as providing a vital link between the SME board and their investors.
David Hogg - Managing Director
David has extensive industry experience, having worked for a number of bank owned factoring companies for over 20 years. In 1984, David was recruited to set up a new start invoice finance company that grew to a very substantial size and was subsequently sold to a major banking group. Prior to establishing SME David served as a director for a number of small and medium sized manufacturing businesses and still retains an active involvement in some of these companies.

John Wilde - Sales and Marketing Director 
John has over 25 years experience within the commercial finance industry, working in senior sales and marketing posts for a number of major financial institutions. For three years prior to founding SME, John established and ran a successful marketing services company that listed a number of leading invoice finance companies amongst its customers.

Steve Sayers - Operations Director
Steven joined the SME board in 2002 from a senior management role within a major international credit reference agency where he had responsibility for managing the central operations functions. He has 25 years finance sector related experience across the commercial and consumer markets
